Thanks so much for your business! Please take a look at your pre and aftercare instructions below and please reach out with any questions!
PRECARE INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Avoid Sun Exposure: Minimize sun exposure and tanning at least a week before the treatment to reduce skin sensitivity.
2. Avoid Retinoids & harsh skin treatments : Discontinue the use of retinoid products and hard skin treatments 7 -14 days before to prevent skin irritation.
3. No Hair Removal: Avoid tweezing, waxing, or threading the brows before lamination for at least 4-6 weeks to ensure enough hair is available for optimal results.
Adequate hair length allows for efficient waxing, while considering skin sensitivity helps prevent adverse reactions
AFTERCARE INSTRUCTIONS:
Brow lamination and waxing are essential for maintaining the results of the treatments and promoting skin and hair health. Here are the steps and their importance:
1. Avoiding Water: Avoid getting the eyebrows wet for the first 24 to 48 hours after lamination. This allows the solution applied during the treatment to fully set and ensures long-lasting results.
2. Avoiding Heat: Avoid exposure to heat sources such as saunas, steam rooms, and hot baths for the first 24 to 48 hours. Heat can disrupt the lamination process and cause the brows to lose their shape.
3. Avoiding Touching: Refrain from touching or rubbing the eyebrows immediately after lamination. Touching can transfer oils and bacteria to the treated area, potentially causing irritation or affecting the results.
4. Using Nourishing Products: Apply a nourishing brow serum or oil (formulated for brows and lashes) the eyebrows daily to keep the hairs hydrated and healthy. This helps prevent dryness and brittleness and maintains the appearance of the laminated brows.
5. Avoiding Oil-Based Products: Avoid using oil-based skincare or makeup products on or around the eyebrows, as they can break down the lamination and cause the hairs to lose their shape.
6. Avoiding Harsh Chemicals: Avoid exposure to harsh chemicals such as chlorine and hair dye not formulated for brows , as they can weaken the brows and affect the longevity of the lamination results.
7. Gentle Cleansing: Cleanse the eyebrows gently with a mild, non-abrasive cleanser to remove dirt, oil, and makeup. Use gentle patting motions and avoid rubbing or pulling on the brows to maintain the laminated shape.
